We actually just purchased a new unit, the Trimble Catalyst DA2 with a subscription service to Catalyst 10. The actual equipment is super affordable, however, the subscription cost runs a little north of $2,000 a year for ~4" accuracy; there are other options for subscription services. We haven't even picked the unit up yet, but it has the capability to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to Android and iOS devices. We are very excited to start using it out in the field!

We use an older Bad Elf Surveyor GNSS model, which has sadly been discontinued. The newer models are more expensive, and have some weird "token" system, but if you can find one of the older models, they're great.

In the summer of 2023, we purchased our first GNSS receiver - an EOS Arrow 100+. From Eos website: "The Arrow 100+™ supports four global GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou); Atlas® subscription services in areas without SBAS or RTK, and more. In addition the Arrow 100+™ also includes 6 hour longer battery life, built-in Eos Bridge ™ functionality, and more. The Arrow 100+™ works with iOS®, Android, and Windows devices. Download the Arrow 100+™ datasheet for a complete breakdown of technical specifications." Happy shopping!
