I am using the L.esri.dynamicMapLayer in a leaflet application. Simply creating the layers is not a problem and I can successfully use them in the application. My issue is when the server for the map service returns an error (400, 500, etc) I loose the ability to click on other data in the map (GeoJson data coming from a MongoDB).

Any ideas on how to catch and handle these errors so that they do not interfere with the user experience?
