    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have several 1:10000 digital maps where i need to merge them into a single layer to create a larger map. However once the merge operation is done, it is necessary to remove the boundary lines in between the two layers (as shown in figure 1,2 and 3)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These boundary lines are part of each polygon (at boundary points) but wondering if there is a way to remove them with a simple operation (dissolve seems not working).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
