Oops.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;tl;dr version: when running the Near tool, use FiveSites as the input feature, LARiver as the Near Features and enter a value of 2 and set the units to Miles, then click on OK.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Problem with Near tool - Chapter 6</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I ran the Near tool as specified on pages 219/220, but I keep getting a -1 in all of the rows for the Near_FID and Near_Dist columns in the FiveSites attribute table. Any thoughts on what I did incorrectly?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
