Model Builder Reset Field Map

I need a way for tools like append and merge to reset their Field Map in Model Builder.

these tools will work if I can reset the Field Map before the tool runs if not it will not work because there is some fields like some IDs fields that get added from joins and other things.

please let me know if you can help

I don't know if it will work for everyone, but I have something that is working at least for now. Using arcmap 10.8.X I made a model with just the merge tool in it and setup the parameters, I then added this model to my current model in ArcPro. This currently allows me to run the merge model the way it should work without the field map issue.
