This works fine when the feature service is open and not protected. When I protect that feature service the tool starts failing.&nbsp;I'm working with a standalone 11.1 server and Pro 3.2.0.</P><P>I add the feature service as a layer in model builder and set that as the target of append. Even when I enable protection on this layer it works locally but once I try to upload the service definition file created from the successful run it hangs and never finishes publishing.
