Run Model on Click

I have a model containing a single geoprocessing tool, that's set to a specific layer in my ArcPro project.

I've added the model as a button to my quick access toolbar. When I make my selection and click the model it opens the geoprocessing window and I can then click the Run button.

I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of a way to have this model run as soon as the button is clicked and not have the geoprocessing window open? Maybe a python snippet or something.

I've installed visual studio and ArcPro SDK. I've looked at some sample code out there and have built an AddIn button. However, I'm still not able to get my model or script to run from this AddIn button. This will have to be something I keep working on in my free time.
