Hello, My name is Nick Ekel and I work for the State of Michigan as a Department Specialist working on environmental sites of contamination as a GIS Specialist. I am also responsible for converting my division's 50 plus years of paper into electronic PDFs to help the public get access to our documents.

My GIS high-point is the Michigan Environmental Mapper which is a web based application that shows all the sites of contamination in Michigan. It allows people to search for locations and download information about the contamination in multiple formats.
