Default slider overlaps part of slider instant app map view.

I have created a slider instant app to show the global volcanic eruptions over a period of time. However, the slider(play menu/bar) is obstructing the map view. I have tried all the configuration settings to reduce the size or remove it completely but to no avail. Kindly help me fix this.
