Hello and welcome! Yes, you'll find that having a strong foundation in data management and programming is a huge benefit in most modern GIS organizations, especially those that work with web-based GIS.

Introduction

Hi all, I'm Kunal Seth & I'm a Software Engineer, I love GIS.

So far, I have found the GIS/ESRI community to be helpful, pleasant, and encouraging. My undergraduate degree was in Machine Learning & AI. I know Python, TensorFlow, Py Torch , JavaScript, C#, Node.JS etc., however I spent most of my study learning database skills & ML & AI, but I'm learning that they're in high demand in this sector, which is a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure which path I want to take in GIS (there are so many!) but I am certain that it is my passion.

I want to develop such kind of tool using ML & AI & GIS - RealTime

I am here for help and advice, but I also am here for networking opportunities with other like minded geo geeks.

Looking forward to learning and exploring this community!

Kunal Seth

Software Engineer UDC Inc & Amazon
