Hello. I am Brian Mahoney and I am new to the community. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health from Emory University. I have worked for 38 years in public health including in the Peace Corps, for the Oregon Public Health Division, for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for the World Health Organization, and for city and county public health departments. My main concerns are communicable disease control, emergency preparedness and response, health equity, and developing a more robust and proactive public health community.
