      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can rotate each data frame to whichever direction you want.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Elie,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What Laura said works. Another way is to add the Data Frame Tools Toolbar &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to Customize --&amp;gt; Toolbars --&amp;gt; Data Frame Tools&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG class="image-1 jive-image" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/191080_pastedImage_0.png" style="max-width: 1200px; max-height: 900px;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here, you can type in the rotation, or you can use the tool to the left (the Rotate tool) and physically drag the map around to the rotation you like.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you go to the layout view and add a North Arrow, the arrow will reflect where North is supposed to be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
