topic Districting Extension Attributes in Mapping Questions

I have been working with the districting extension in 10.0 and I was wondering if there was a way that you can change the data source for source geography. For example, populations change from day to day and I want the data to be current within the mxd. Does anyone know how you can keep the attributes current without having to create the districts from scratch every time?
