How do I enable Maplex for all MXDs without losing ??advanced label placement settings?? I re-installed 93. All MXDs now lack Maplex. The prompt ??Label Engine Unavailble? gives only 2 options; Convert to standard labels or close doc.
If I convert then will I lose the advanced label placement settings from Maplex.
How do I enable Maplex before this prompt?
Thanks.

Robert,
thanks. I have been using Maplex for years but after re-installing 93, all of the existing MXDs open without Maplex enabled. I had to use the install DVD to Modify, and reinstalled Maplex. It seems to be working. Thank you for your response.
Stew
