      <title>How to best symbolize two point layers on one map</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see the attached map.&amp;nbsp; For security, only the point layers are visible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The small dots represent customers.&amp;nbsp; The large asterisks represent WiFi hotspots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you can see, the symbology is muddled and it's difficult to differentiate the layers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried changing the symbols of each layer, but the problem persists.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried converting the customer points to raster, but the result does not represent the data meaningfully.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The point density and kernel density tools offer possible solutions, but I'd prefer to not have to represent the customer data that way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What other methods can be used to display two point layers on one map so that the data of each layer is easily viewed and understood?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
