Since the Grid layout modifies the position of all the nodes, it needs to remove vertices. You can run the Grid and then run the Separate Overlapping Links algorithm to spread the lines back out again after the grid has been applied. There is also a Composite Layout that can be configured to run both of those sequentially, but only 1 click for the user.

Layout Task "Grid" delete all vertices

Hi,

I am new in the ArcGIS Schematic world!
Until now, when I activate the Layout Task ??Grid?, all added vertices (see figure) of my links will be delete. But then, my links will be overlapping again!
.
Is it possible to correct the position of vertices as well as nodes with the Layout Task ??Grid? or through another possibility?

Thanks for any help you can provide. 🙂
