topic import polygon symbology from arc explorer .aep to v10.2 in Mapping Questions https://community.esri.com/t5/mapping-questions/import-polygon-symbology-from-arc-explorer-aep-to/m-p/232388#M2488 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi!</P><P></P><P>I recently downloaded a government geology polygon shapefile that came with an older .aep file.&nbsp; When i open the file in ArcExplorer v2 (its old and was included with the download) its symbology is classified using all the property geological colour-codes.</P><P></P><P>My question, can I use the symbology defined in the .aep file in ArcMap 10?&nbsp; When i open the the .aep in a text editor i can see the definitions for this particular layer but am not sure what to do with it?
