Polar Projection Hole

I am making a circumpolar map and have added the Oceans Basemap to it. There is a hole in the basemap coverage right at the North Pole. I have seen a Story Map that manages to have coverage for this area. Why is it like this and what can be done to fill the gap?

I am attaching a screenshot of how my map looks and here is a link to the Story Map that has that coverage, using the same basemap:

From what I recall, the hole comes from the fact that they cut the tiles off at something like 1 degree North. This means there is no coverage for that small area.

My workaround was to photoshop some appropriate water into the hole and export that out as an image for my story map.

Almost invisible. If I were better at Photoshop I think I could've made it disappear.

The are Arctic Ocean Basemaps available in Living Atlas and you can use those.
