Update the font in drawings

There are a couple of things that could be helpful to make text within drawings more readable.

I've had requests from our staff to update the default size of the text within drawings. By default this is size 12. Often when demo-ing it I change the font size to 20-30.

Imagery is our most used basemap. The text often gets lost against this despite the colour used. It would be great if we had the option to include a halo or a text background box.

I've tried to mimic this by placing a plain coloured box where I wish to add text. However the text will always fall behind the box regardless of the order I draw it in and I also have issues knowing what size to make the box. The simplest fix for the above if a halo/background isn't possible would be to make the order of appearance the order drawn.

Having a halo on the text by default would be good. I've had similar comments that its hard to read the text sometimes, depending on the background being used

Hey @TaupoDistrict_Council and @MarlboroughDistrict_Council - again, you guys have some wicked ideas! Have talked to the team about this and we can look at a configuration for the Draw / Measure tool and possible default settings. If you know other councils that would appreciate this too, make sure you get them to vote (or Kudos as it is now?) as that really helps us understand which out of the draw / measure enhancements are most wanted!

It would be nice to be able to have to option o a text box and the ability to return the line so that the text is not in a long single string. It would also be useful if you could edit the text once you have added it to the map as currently the only option is to delete and start again.

Thanks @GISAdmin32 - so essentially being able to change the dimensions of the text once added. Yes we did once have the ability to edit text when we first updated the draw / measure but believe we removed it due to feedback that it was a bit too fiddly to do. More than happy to review it again and work to allow editing in a user friendly manner!

Whangarei District Council would like to see the option to add a halo (say a tickbox, as a halo is not always needed)
The ability to change the font type would be welcome too

An example text with halo can be found in this saved map -Text with halo. Please have a look and let us know your feedback.
