    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Details regarding a new security vulnerability identified as CVE-2021-44228 (aka Log4Shell aka LogJam) were recently released.This issue is generating considerable media attention.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We wanted to make you all aware that&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;LocalMaps does not use log4j for logging and is not vulnerable to this&lt;/EM&gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt; ArcGIS may be affected based on the version you are using.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Eagle and Esri are aware of and actively investigating the impact of CVE-2021-44228 to other ArcGIS software and services with high priority.
