On the JS SDK, FeatureLayer has <A href="https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-layers-FeatureLayer.html#orderBy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">orderBy</A>, but this does not seem to exist in the Swift or Kotlin SDK.
