      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This map does cover the entire globe; however, it is often very slow to load due to its large size. If you navigate to a place where you'd like to investigate and zoom in, the data should load. Additionally, on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, if you click the Bookmark button, you can click on some of the most densely populated places across Earth. I apologize that this layer does not perform well. We are working on solutions to improve it. Depending on what you are hoping to investigate, you might find our &lt;A href="https://arcg.is/0rPLfn0" target="_self"&gt;Human Footprint map&lt;/A&gt; and layer or the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/atlas/index.html?appid=0cd1cdee853c413a84bfe4b9a6931f0d&amp;amp;webmap=b2ab19b71cc64d68bcddb99f1dc36973" target="_self"&gt;Global Land Cover&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;map to function better at the global scale.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sarah Appleton&lt;/P&gt;</description>
