Incorrect output when subtracting DEMs

Hi all,

Right now I'm having a problem with getting correct a output for a difference DEM when I use minus tool and the raster math tool. (I know my outputs are incorrect - I've taken over for someone who left this project, so to establish a correct workflow I'm running through data that he already ran. What I'm getting for my difference DEMs are much different than what he got.)

I'm running out of ideas and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Here are some of the major things I've tried so far:

- Checking that the coordinate systems match

- Changing the pixel sizes in each DEM so they match

- Ensuring the DEMs are clipped to the same size

- I was originally using the minus tool, but I've tried the raster math tool as well

I'm sure the solution is in something little that I'm missing, but I'd love to hear any and all ideas.
