    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am creating maps where I need to add html coding to my text to create a background to subtly mask the elements and imagery behind it. I am using the formatting tags described at&amp;nbsp;&lt;A class="link-titled" href="https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/mapping/text/text-formatting-tags.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_96294382914B4D659E5487960431214A" title="https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/mapping/text/text-formatting-tags.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_96294382914B4D659E5487960431214A"&gt;Text formatting tags—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp; to create my code.&amp;nbsp; However, the background is too tall, I would prefer it to be only slightly higher than the text in front of it, not roughly twice the height of the text.&amp;nbsp; The width is just fine.&amp;nbsp; Is there a tag I can use to change the height of the background?&amp;nbsp; Here is an example of my text:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;California Present Perf&amp;lt;BGD red="173" green="234" blue="188" alpha="60"&amp;gt;e&amp;lt;/BGD&amp;gt;cted Rights (PPRs)&lt;BR /&gt;Map No. X of X&lt;BR /&gt;Miscellaneous PPR No&amp;lt;BGD red="173" green="234" blue="188" alpha="60"&amp;gt;s&amp;lt;/BGD&amp;gt;. 30, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43 and 49&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I found a work-around.&amp;nbsp; ArcPro allows for transparent polygons, so I am using transparent patches instead of html for when I need smaller backgrounds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
