Hey @PatrickMadden2

That data source does indeed need an internet connection to communicate with the REST API to pull the data unfortunately. I had a similar situation recently of someone attempting to take training material offline and it did not like that. If there is a GDB file that is offered or a downloadable file, those typically work without issue offline.

Cody

Using ESRI training Files

Hello,

I'm currently working through some of the ESRI training courses, however, I have noticed that some of the data when uploaded into ArcPro does not show (has e red exclamation mark next to it). I am downloading the data from on computer and using a memory stick to put it onto the device with Arc installed. The device that has ArcGIS on does not have internet connectivity, is this why the red exclamation mark is showing and some of the data not showing?

Source of said data is https://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer

Im assuming as it is stored online that is why it isn't working, but would appreciate some clarification.

Thanks.
