Results window not opening

Hi there,

I'm a newbie to ArcGIS spatial statistics, so please bear with me. I'm running some tools like Average Nearest Neighbor and I can't get the results. I go to Geoprocessing, Results and nothing comes up. I tried looking for a results file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Desktop10.3\ArcToolbox\History and there's XML files that are a log of my actions. Still, no results.

Help! Your advice is appreciated!

1 Does it happen with all projects?

2 Do you happen to have 2 monitors?

Thanks for responding, Dan!

Good question! I do work on two monitors, but I'm now running off of one display.

I repeated the steps and checked off "Generate report". I also disabled background processing. Success! I see now where ArcGIS is saving the HTML report file.

I still can't open the Results window, but I can get the report file.

Now, onto the EVEN harder task of interpreting the results 🙂

I also tried to run a tool on another file and, still, the Results window does not open. 😞

Just humor me...turn on the other monitor...if the results window remembers the last space it was in..then it is there...otherwise...no clue

A right click on the taskbar then "Cascade windows" will work on all open windows even the hidden ones.
