topic Gradient for Graduated Symbols Symbology in Geoprocessing Questions

Hello

I am trying to create a pseudo heat map from a points data set (trailhead locations) that contains the number of visitors in various years at these locations. Since I am not concerned about the density of points, what is needed for a normal heat map, but instead the number of people at the trailheads, this is not a traditional trailhead. I have tried to create a grid of hexagons and use spatial join but this does not give me the results I am looking for. The only way that I have come up with is to use the graduated symbols. However, I want to create a gradient of colors for the different symbols, is there a way to do this?

Thanks
