dissolve failure

Hello,

I've used the dissolve function many times with success. I just performed one again, on a point event layer and it worked fine. I repeated the process and it failed Always returns empty results. I tried changing all variables, and it always returns nothing. It worked the first time, I repeated the EXACT SETTINGS for the first successful result, and it FAILS! WHY WHY WHY? Please help!

In my experience geoprocessing tools don't like events layers. Try exporting as a feature class first.

Make sure your geographic extent includes the extents the points are in.
Menu: Geoprocessing>Environments>Processing Extents
