I'm not quite sure where the names of the two rasters are stored that you would like to combine. Any additional info you can provide will assist me in helping you.

Regards

Inline variable substitution of two variables in the same tool in modelbuilder 10?

I am trying to do zonal statistics with two inputs that both have inline variable substitution in their names. The first is the value raster of the zonal statistics, and it is named "%name%_area" because it undergoes a nested iteration to calculate the areas of several different grids. The second is grid is the output of an iteration in the model that is calculating zonal statistics, and it provides the zones. I need the table produced from the zonal statistics tool to combine both of the input names, otherwise I won't be able to distinguish between the iterations. Is there anyway to do this?

Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Elizabeth

Hello,
Thank you for responding! Attached is a jpeg of my model. The "Crop Area Calculator" is a model with an iteration in it, and the "Crop Area" output is actually "%name%_area", although I don't know if that carries from one model to the next. I essentially want to combine the names of "Crop Area" and "Crop Characteristic" in the output of the zonal statistics. Is this possible? Is there anything else that would be helpful to know?

Thanks,
Elizabeth
