Basin tool (Spatial Analyst) finishes without error. No output file found.

I have a flow direction raster (d8 with edges flowing out). I am trying to generate basin from this surface. The basin tool in 3D analyst (and spatial analyst - I tried it both ways) processes for some time, states the processing is complete yet no file is found in the output directory. No file is added to the display given ArcGIS Pro is set to add geoprocessing outputs to the display. Why? No environment settings were set that might cause some funny issues.

Did you run the DEM through fill sinks BEFORE generating the flow direction? Also what is your I:\ drive? Try writing to C:\

Sure, filled, stream burned, all that. I drive? Just a network drive but that shouldn't matter as all of the other steps, fill, D8, etc. went to that drive as geotiffs. I can try it though....

Changing directories to C:/Temp made no difference except I got the wonderful 999999 error.

At this point all I can suggest is you share a sample of data that causes the problem for others to try and replicate and offer up a potential solution.
