topic Spatial Join Crash Workplace is Read Only in Geoprocessing Questions

In ArcGIS Pro, I'm using a spatial join to sum attributes of point features within a set of polygons. Both my point and polygon data are reasonably large. When I used the geoprocessing tool for spatial join, they would crash if I ran out of memory. Now, even after subsetting both layers, my spatial joins will still crash. I receive an Error 999999 which tells me to contact Tech Support. Below this error, the popup window says my workplace is read only. I have contacted Tech Support but because my license is from a university (I am a doctoral student but also work for the school), they said they weren't able to open a case to figure this out. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to figure out this problem? Thank you!
