    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've got many shapefiles that I've created via a model.&amp;nbsp; I've been trying to find a way to incorporate the creation of the metadata into the model itself, and haven't found anything yet.&amp;nbsp; Surely someone else has tried to do this?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Barring that, can anyone suggest a good way to do bulk creation of metadata?&amp;nbsp; At this point my plan is to create one good metadata file, and then do "find and replace" many times in a good text editor.&amp;nbsp; I'll do it, but it doesn't seem very efficient.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mike,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is a problem that has troubled me for a long time. I still create a single metadata file and edit the xml files using notepad ++ and I find it quite tedious and inefficient. The trouble is when you are produced the metadata files for a 1000+ data sets.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Patrick.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
