I feel that it would be more beneficial to use "classes" of lighting; that is, Class 1 is the best lit whereas Class 5 is the worst lit, with Classes 2, 3, and 4 in between. I built a model which I believe will be able to make the necessary shapefiles. Unfortunately, the model always fails at the Select tool.
