The polygon is a river valley. I also have a polyline of the river centerline and a point layer with points on the centerline every 500m. The lines splitting the valley at each interval must be perpendicular to the river centerline. The previous person in my position did this at 1km intervals but I'm not sure what tool was used or if it was just done manually perhaps. An example of what this should look like after the geoprocessing is attached.
