To troubleshoot the issue I added a new toolbox and a very basic script to that toolbox that does nothing but spits out a message.&nbsp; I published the toolbox to the GIS Server and then added that service as a toolbox. Now when trying to run the basic tool, it completes with the message but then ArcCatalog shuts down. This happens every time no matter what script I use. I tried upgrading to SP1 but that didn't make a difference. We did not have this problem in 9.3.
