    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I think you want to use the [make raster] tool with a SQL query and select a single band in the tool properties. You should be able to do this directly from the dataset. I'm only working with single band imagery right now but I have used the make raster tool to separate image bands, and SQL should allow you to limit the values.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Surely I'm missing something simple.&amp;nbsp; I'm working with Esri's new mosaic dataset format and am wondering how I can extract values below a certain theshold for a single band, like we used to do with the raster calculator.&amp;nbsp; I've looked at both the functions in the mosaic dataset as well as trying to get the mosaic into the raster calculator and neither is working well.&amp;nbsp; I've read through the help but am hoping that maybe I just missed something obvious?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
