    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Luke,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This could possible be related to the following defect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BUG-000105024:&amp;nbsp;When a model is published as a geoprocessing service containing a script, and has a variable/parameter that is optional, the geoprocessing service fails to run.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any optional parameters in your model before publishing?&amp;nbsp; That is a caveat of the defect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Marisa&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am getting this message when running a model published to server 10.4.1.&amp;nbsp; The model runs fine in desktop 10.4.1.&amp;nbsp; My published model also utilizes a script in which the statement:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;arcpy.env.workspace = arcpy.GetParameterAsText(0)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is changed to&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 16px;"&gt;arcpy.env.workspace = arcpy.arcpy.env.packageWorkspace(0).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 16px;"&gt;when the script is copied to the server directory:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 16px;"&gt;C:\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisinput\MOLOS3.GPServer\extracted\v101\scripts&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 16px;"&gt;Why the extra arcpy?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
