topic SAP Hana Copy/Paste Issues in Geodatabase Questions

We’re in the middle of our utility network transformation and running into a persistent issue that we haven’t been able to resolve. We’re moving our gas system data into SAP HANA (HANA in the cloud, but not RISE). Our architecture is cloud‑based end‑to‑end: an Azure VM running ArcGIS Pro connecting to HANA in the cloud.

We’ve built the Utility Network in a file geodatabase and are using copy/paste to load everything into our enterprise geodatabase. The network itself is clean — no interference, and we’ve been able to progressively tune it — but we cannot get all of our data to copy into HANA. We consistently hit this error:
“Server reply packet too large more than packetSizeLimit:: 08003.”

Has anyone run across this before with any database loading? Is there a way to set packet size? Our network team has been heavily involved and we have exhausted that workflow. Everything is open and in proximity in terms of servers, firewalls etc.

@MelissaJarman
