Can you version Hosted Feature Layers?

Recently we have been doing more work with Hosted Feature Layers. Is it possible to branch version a hosted feature layer? I've only been able to do it with feature layers published from an Enterprise Geodatabase.

The data must be registered as branch versioned and published from an enterprise geodatabase.

Enterprise Geodatabase = ArcSDE Geodatabase in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

You cannot use branch version with hosted feature layers with ArcGIS Data Store.

Thanks @MarceloMarques this does answer my question. Does the same stand true for Traditional Versioning? That can also only be done on an Enterprise GDB?

Yes, the same applies for Traditional Versioning as well, you must have an ArcSDE Geodatabase in Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
