After uploading a layer to an Enterprise geodatabase, the layer become corrupt and simultaneously created a timestamped layer in ArcGIS Server Manager. The timestamped layer shows up along with the original layer in ArcGIS Server. The timestamped version can be deleted, but the original layer stops and will not start again, nor can it be deleted.

Does anyone know why this timestamped layer gets created? Has anyone else encountered these timestamped instances of a layer?
