Can geodatabase be registered in ArcServer via Python?

Hello - We are migrating to ArcServer 10.6.1 from 10.4. We have numerous database schemas that we have registered in our 10.4 ArcServer. I am trying to find out if there is a way to programmatically (via Python) register these geodatabase schemas (.SDE connection files) in our new ArcServer rather than having to manually register them one by one via Arc Server Manager. I can't find anything specific online and none of the tools in the toolbox look like they will do what I want.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. I believe that tool (arcpy.AddDataStoreItem) may be just the thing. I will run some tests tomorrow. It looks very promising.
