hi,

i get the following error in fme
Geodatabase Error (-2147220987): The user does not have permission to execute the operation.
using Esri Geodatabase (File Geodb Open API) writer.

has anyone had the same problem with using the open api? thanks to everything

Hi,

ensure the database user your are using has the necessary privileged to write features/execute to the database

Additionally, check that FME is acquiring the necessary license to perform said function. Here's a handy article for setting license levels:
