I've had a problem like this before with some of ESRI's downloads and that fixed it. If that doesn't work, do yourself a favor and download 7-Zip.

Hi folks, it may be my machine, but i am unable to unzip any archive i download of the file GDB API. I always get the same error "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". I use winzip to open the downloaded file. I am really excited to try this out, would someone please correct me if i am making a beginner's mistake? Thanks.
