I'm Gimhani from Sri Lanka, currently pursuing my MSc in Geoinformatics at the University of Colombo while also serving as a fellow in the GeoAI for Disaster Resilience Fellowship — a national initiative supported by the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka focused on applying GeoAI for disaster risk reduction and resilience planning.
My work sits at the intersection of GIS, remote sensing, and AI, with a particular focus on how geospatial technologies can strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response. I work extensively with ArcGIS Pro and am actively exploring how machine learning and GeoAI workflows can be applied to real-world spatial challenges.
