Hi Matt! Working in GIS for solar development sounds like a really interesting space. Good luck with the GIS Professional certification exam too, that’s a big milestone. I’m currently studying GIS myself, so it’s always great hearing about how people are applying it in industry.

Looking forward to seeing the insights you share here. I’ll connect with you on LinkedIn as well!

Hello, my name is Matt Garamella and I am excited to be a part of the Esri YPN! I am currently a GIS Administrator at Navisun, a solar developer based in Massachusetts. I am also wrapping up a graduate certificate in GIS Programming and Web Development from Penn State University and am preparing for the GIS Professional Certificate Exam!

I have been mentoring about GIS as well, but I hope to also share my experience and insight on this platform. Feel free to reach out through LinkedIn if you would like to connect!
