    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am looking for help with some&amp;nbsp;fundemental tasks that I am wrestling with.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a feature layer with building footprints and a&amp;nbsp;point feature classs with hight data. Now I want to add the hight data to the building feature class.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If a join of some kind has been made to the building features, then you can add a new field and use the field calculator to copy the values over from the join table to the original file.&amp;nbsp; There is no automagic way of making the joined data stay without doing the field calculation or saving to a new file&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
