Hi @MagnusKull. The promo code should be applied on the Pearson VUE website to register for your second exam if you are not successful on the first attempt. This code is from PV and does not apply to Esri exam voucher purchases through Esri Academy or the Esri Store.

if, due to something I forgot, I didn't insert the retake voucher, but I made the purchase on 20/05/2025, did I miss the opportunity to have the retake?

I'll still get the retake?

In the email received by PersonVue, it says that I would have had to enter this promo code before buying and I didn't do that.

@Vanessada_Cunha_Faria_Leite you will need to have initially purchased an exam voucher from Esri through Esri Academy or the Esri Store to apply towards exam registration through the Pearson VUE website. The exam voucher code and the free retake promotion code can only be applied through their website and does not work towards purchase/payment of an exam voucher through our the Esri sites I mentioned. @Vanessada_Cunha_Faria_Leite the code you receive when you opt-in to participate in the exam retake promotion should only be applied in the event you do not pass your first exam and need to use the code to register for the second exam in PV at no additional cost. If you require a second attempt, as long as you schedule your retake between July 07, 2025 - January 20, 2026, you will be able to apply that retake promo code for your second attempt. Please let me know if this addresses your question.

Here’s how it works:

Visit the Pearson VUE site and follow the instructions to opt-in to receive your exam retake promo code via email.
Purchase a voucher for the Esri technical certification exam you’d like to take.
Register to take your exam on or before June 12, 2025 - apply the free retake promo code you received via email at checkout and pay for your exam using the Esri exam voucher you purchased (you will input two separate codes for this step - the free retake promo code and the Esri exam voucher code)
If you don’t pass the exam on your first attempt, schedule and take a second attempt between July 07, 2025 – January 20, 2026 on the Pearson VUE website — at no cost to you! No need to re-enter the promo code.

Excuse me, I dont understand what is going on. I have just taken the test this morning Its June 11th!(and failed), I am trying to get my head around this retake voucher and it tells me that I am outside June 12th. To whom I can contact asap to grant my promised free retake?

Hi @AneteZvaigzneLV it looks like there was a mix up regarding application of the retake promo code and when to apply it. This promo code should have been applied at the time of registering for your first exam registration, so you'd apply your exam voucher code as well as the retake promotion code so they can track this and offer the free one in the event you are not successful on your first attempt. This mix up was just caught by our team this week, and we have since corrected the corresponding article to reflect this update. As a result of this confusion, I do agree with Vanessada below, and it would be best to contact Pearson VUE directly, share with them this issue, and ask that they honor this retake promotion since you did complete it in time - https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/test-takers/customer-service/online-chat-support.html. If you have any issues with receiving this promo due to the mixup, please follow up with me directly and I will research this further for resolution.
