Hello,

I am a web developer and I want to get a GIS certification. I've been looking at the ArcGIS Developer Foundation 2201 certification and just saw that there's a related learning plan. This course includes an instructor-led class that costs 2020$ which I cannot afford at the moment. Is it absolutely necessary or can I pass the certification exam without it, just by doing all the other courses in that learning plan?

Our Esri Exam Preparation Resources article details some resources that we have available, however completing a learning plan does not guarantee a passing score on the exam, nor is it required to complete. Exam preparation is a balance between combining experience with information from many resources.
