Good morning,

I recently purchased Focus on Geodatabases in ArcGIS Pro from Amazon to work through some exercises, and I'm getting two error messages at the bottom of the screen when I go to the book group Content page in ArcGIS Online to download the tutorial data.

I log in to my ArcGIS Online account, navigate to the book group page for that book, click on the Content tab to view all of the tutorial downloads, and there are two of the same errors at the bottom of the screen saying "You do not have permissions to access this resource".

Strangely enough, the Overview tab of the book group doesn't give me the error messages, and I believe I didn't get the errors just navigating to the same pages from the ESRI Press website when I wasn't logged into ArcGIS Online.

I was hoping to confirm with someone at ESRI that it would be fine to bypass the errors and just download the data. Figuring out why the error messages pop up would be great too.

Thanks!

Austin

Hi Austin,

I wasn't able to reproduce those warnings, so I'm not sure why they are appearing, though I suspect it may be a cookies or caching issue. I recommend you bypass the warnings and download the exercise data.

Thanks,

Craig
