I need to copy a field values to another field the same attribute table,

Its not the that I want to joint, I just need to copy the values from a field that I have jointed from an excel file to a new field.

Use the field calculator. Assuming you have added a field of the appropriate type

python parser

!YourOtherField!

note the ! marks surrounding your other fields name

!NewField!=!MyField!

Is that correct?
Cause I got error in terms on Null values!?
